A woman was airlifted and another person was Tased at a suspected hostage situation on Hines Road Tuesday afternoon.

Troup County Sheriff’s Investigators were called to the house at about 4:30 p.m. to the report of someone being taken hostage, according to scanner traffic.  Part of Hines Road is closed to traffic while the incident is being investigated.
