Big crowd comes out for second West Point Winter Carnival

November 25, 2013

A snow slide sponsored by Kia made its return for the second annual West Point Winter Carnival on Saturday. Hundreds came out to the event, which featured local merchants, rides, games, contests and live events. The evening ended with ‘snow’ at the West Point Depot and Museum and a reading of ”Twas the Night Before Christmas.’

Santa Claus makes his entrance to the West Point Winter Carnival atop a West Point fire engine and accompanied by Point University cheerleaders. He then took his seat at the Depot, where children could tell him what they wanted to Christmas.
