The LaGrange-Troup County Christmas Parade will have a slightly shorter route this year.
The annual parade still will circle downtown Thursday, but instead of traveling down to Byron Hurst Street to turn from Bull Street to Main Street, most floats will instead turn at Broome Street. LaGrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce officials said some floats may not be able to make the turn at Broome, and still will travel to the usual turnaround.
Officials said attendees should adjust their seating for Thursday’s parade accordingly, because anyone sitting between Broom and Byron Hurst streets won’t see all the floats.
