Holiday sweep yields drug charges for 13

Thirteen suspects have been charged with selling or possession of dangerous drugs as a result of a drug roundup conducted by the West Point Police Department, Troup County Sheriff’s Department and the Chambers County, Ala., Drug Task Force on Tuesday.


According to a West Point Police Department press release, the three agencies have been working together the past several months anfter undercover investigators made drug buys from local street-level dealers.


The results of the roundup led to the following suspects:


• Erin Dale Locklear, 38, of West Point, charged with sale of morphine.


• Ethan Taylor Whitehead, 23, of Valley, Ala., charged with sale of methadone.


• Debrozzo Tomarco Johnson, 41, of West Point, charged with two counts of sale of cocaine and two counts sale of cocaine within 1,000 feet of public housing.


• Mallory Jade Fincher, 25, of Valley, charged with sale of Xanax;


• Autumn Michele Hancock, 22, of Valley, charged with sale of Xanax;


• Joshua Montez Gunsby, 25, of West Point, charged with sale of marijuana within 1,000 feet of public housing;


• Kimberly Raye Crenshaw, 39, of LaGrange, charged with sale of methamphetamine;


• Jessica Louise Fowler, 29, of LaGrange, charged with sale of methamphetamine;


• Jameson Lamar Hargett, 30, of West Point, charged with two counts sale of marijuana within 1,000 feet of public housing;


• Tony Bernard Hargett, 39, of West Point, charged with two counts sale of marijuana within 1,000 feet of public housing;


• William McQueen, 36, of West Point, charged with sale of marijuana within 1,000 feet of public housing;


• Felicia Rechelle Brown, 25, of LaGrange, charged with sale of cocaine and sale of cocaine within 1,000 feet of public housing;


• and Michael Lewis James, 54, of West Point, charged with two counts sale of oxycodone.


Whitehead, Johnson, Fincher, Hancock and Fowler were arrested on Tuesday; and Crenshaw, Jameson Hargett and James already were incarcerated. Locklear, Gunsby, Tony Hargett, McQueen and Brown remained at large this morning.
