The Callaway Cavaliers just keep rolling along.

The Cavaliers overwhelmed B.E.S.T. Academy 85-70 on Friday to remain perfect in Region 4-AAA.

The Cavaliers, who have won all seven of their games in 2014, improved to 6-0 in the region.

Callaway put it away early.

In an explosive first quarter, the Cavaliers rolled to a 34-12 lead, and while B.E.S.T Academy hung tough after that, the outcome was never in doubt.

Dre Martin paced the Cavaliers with 21 points, and Joe Brown added 18 points.

Braylon Sanders contributed 14 points, and Pedy Leverette added 12 points.

The Cavaliers will try to maintain their flawless region record when they visit Rockmart today.

Also on Friday, the Lady Cavaliers weren’t challenged en route to a 75-29 victory over Coretta S. King.

The Lady Cavaliers (8-5 overall) improved to 4-2 in the region.

A trio of freshmen led the way in scoring for the Lady Cavaliers.

KeKe Talley had 16 points, Alexus Scott scored 14 points, and Ladasia Bray contributed 12 points.

With the game decided early, Callaway coach Deyano Martin was able to empty the bench and get the reserves a lot of playing time.
