Man arrested on firearm, threat charges

Investigators with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office Monday arrested Randal Clark Morris, 42, of Troup County after executing a search warrant at his residence on Bartley Road.

Clark is facing charges of terrorist threats and acts and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

During the search, investigators recovered numerous firearms from inside his home which he is prohibited from possessing, according to the report.

Morris was awaiting a court hearing on a pending felony charge of false imprisonment and battery at the time of his arrest.

He is currently in the Troup County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
