Two men with guns allegedly robbed a convenient store in the early morning hours today.

According to a sheriff’s report, at approximately 2:16 a.m., two black males entered into Money Back store in the 2800 block of Upper Big Springs Road with guns demanding money. The clerk complied and the suspects left with an undetermined amount of money.

Deputies with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office arrived on the scene and investigators are looking into the incident.

The first suspect is described as wearing a dark colored or black hooded jacket, blue jean pants, dark colored shoes, a red cap and a red bandanna covering his face, and bright green gloves.

The second suspect was wearing a dark colored jacket, blue mask, black pants, black shoes and black gloves.

Approximately 10 minutes prior to the robbery, an unidentified black male entered the store, made a small purchase and was seen communicating on his cellphone before leaving the location.

He was wearing a red T-shirt, khaki pants, black and tan shoes, a necklace and a gold watch.

Officials say this person is not considered a suspect at this time, only a person investigators want to question.
