Two more thefts reported at homes off Caney Creek Court.
According to the Troup County Sheriffs Office, two separate homeowners noticed several items were missing from around their residences.
Investigators say at one home a 12-volt marine battery, a battery charger, and a four gallon plastic gas tank was stolen. At a second residence, four fiber glass fishing poles, eight combo fishing poles, and a metal fuel tank and fuel line were taken from the area.
Two other thefts off Caney Creek Road were also reported to the Troup County Sheriffs Office over the weekend. In those incidences, more fishing and boating equipment were also stolen.
Deputies are still investigating.
The LaGrange Police Department is still investigating a burglary at a home in the 100 block of Cross Creek Drive.
According to the report, the homeowners told police someone(s) had entered their residence while they were at work. Among the items stolen: a 55 inch RCA flat screen TV, an X-box 360, a Dell lap top, a Samsung touch screen cellphone, and a gold Michael Kors ladies watch. The total value is more than $3,000.
