LaGRANGE — LaGrange Academy held new member inductions for the National Honor Society on March 14.

Members of the honor society at the Academy must maintain a 3.5 GPA in academic classes and demonstrate leadership, character and service. New members this year included Coral Douglas, Whit Moreman, Amna Amir, Mason Brown, Laurel Genova, Elaina Horlander, Courtney Keeble, Holly Martin, Fikayo Oshinowo, Evan Smith, Maya Turner and John Whitlow.

The new group of inductees at LaGrange Academy brings the total membership of the chapter up to 33 students. These students perform service projects each year including hosting a Veteran’s Day brunch for local service men and women, fundraisers to make donations to Emmaus Women’s Shelter and Living Hope for Honduras, collecting batteries for the Toys for Tots Christmas Drive, collecting pop tops for the Ronald McDonald House and filling goody bags for veterans in local nursing homes for Veterans’ Day, Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Easter.
