Canaan Baptist Church, 5930 Mooty Bridge Road in LaGrange, hosts its Deacon Ordination and Recognition Celebration at 2 p.m. with guest speaker and church the Rev. J.R. Ware, pastor of Welcome Baptist Church.

Heavenly Heights International Ministries, 104 Youngs Mill Road in LaGrange, celebrates its 10th church anniversary at 2:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Pastor Michael Jackson of Confidence Missionary Baptist Church. Dinner will be served after service.

Word Harvest Ministries hosts its anniversary of pastor Roger Clayton and Lutrellia Clayton at 3:30 p.m. at Cedar Crest Community Church, 2380 Roanoke Road. Guest speaker is Dr. Daryl Vining of Hebron Fellowship Baptist Church in Byron.

Legacy Museum on Main, 136 Main St. in LaGrange, hosts the exhibit Lifting More Voices: Early Troup County Black History through Sept. 16.
