Events: Market on Main is 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. in Carmike Cinemas LaGrange 10 parking lot at Main and East Depot streets featuring local produce, food and crafts.

Jefferson Street Market featuring local wares and produce is 9:30 a.m. to noon at 625 Jefferson St.

Meetings: Self Help Harbor, 909 Stonewall St., hosts AA meetings 10:30 a.m. for women, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Churches: Zion Rest Baptist Church, 2947 50th St. in Valley, Ala., hosts a Men’s and Youth Males Conference at 10 a.m. with several guest speakers. Lunch will be provided. All men and boys are invited to attend. Walter Scott, 706-402-0296

Churches: Thankful Baptist Church, 1195 Cannonville Road, hosts an early church service at 10 a.m.

Solomon Grove Missionary Baptist Church observes its 96th church anniversary at 11 a.m. The Rev. Bartholomew Orr and Friendship Baptist Church of Gabbettville are special guests.

New Mount Olive Baptist Church, off Knott Road, will celebrate the Rev. Rufus and Mary Smith’s 34th pastor anniversary at 11 a.m. Guest will be the Rev. Anthony Nelson and the Bethel Heard Baptist Church of Franklin.

Warren Temple United Methodist Church, 416 E. Depot St., hosts Family and Friends Day at 11 a.m. The Rev. Vincent J. Dominique is the featured speaker.

Louise United Methodist Church, 1189 Hines Road, hosts Youth Achievement and Family Friends Day at 11 a.m. Guest speaker is Victor Shirod Morris. The church also hosts Women’s Day Anniversary at 2:30 p.m. with guest speaker the Rev. Yolanda Colton.

Rocky Mount Baptist Church, 515 Hillcrest Road in Hogansville, hosts its 125th church anniversary at 2 p.m. with guest speaker the Rev. Michael Stevenson and guest Central Baptist Church.

Welcome Baptist Church in the Redline community hosts homecoming at 2:30 p.m. with guest speaker the Rev. Travis Leonard of Ebenzer Baptist Church in Franklin.

Arbor Grove Baptist Church, 200 Brown St., hosts the annual program for God’s Precious Children at 3 p.m.

Callaway Baptist Church hosts discipleship training, youth and children’s classes at 5 p.m.

New Macedonia Baptist Church holds vacation Bible school Sunday to Thursday at 6 p.m.–8 p.m. Registration starts at 5:45 p.m. Sunday.

Monday

Events: A beginner scrapbook class is offered at the Active Life Center on Ragland Street at 1 p.m. There is no cost for the class. A registration form and supply list can be picked up at the center.

The LaGrange Memorial Library, 115 Alford St., hosts a free computer class on using Windows 10 at 6 p.m. Bring your own Windows 10 laptop. Registration is required because seating is limited. To register, fill out a form at the circulation desk or call 706-882-7784 ext. 20.

Legacy Museum on Main, 136 Main St. in LaGrange, hosts the exhibit Lifting More Voices: Early Troup County Black History through Sept. 16. The museum is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and usually the first and third Saturdays of each month from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. To check Saturday openings or schedule a group visit, call 706-884-1828.
