PINE MOUNTAIN — The best pro and amateur wake surf athletes in the world will catch waves behind the “game-changing” 2016 Nautique G23 surf system creating waves at Robin Lake Beach in Callaway Gardens.

The Nautique 2015 USA National Wake Surf Championship is the premier qualifying competition stop for the 2015 World Series of Wake Surfing and World Wake Surfing Championship. The event is set to kick off Friday and run through Sunday at Robin Lake Beach.

Friday is first qualifying heats from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. with all competitors scheduled to ride. The second heats will be 8 a.m. –6 p.m. Saturday and pro division finals are 8:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. with the awards ceremony at 3:30 p.m. at the lake’s ski pavilion

Friday admission is $20 per adult; $15 per senior; $10 per child ages 6-12 and free for children 5 and younger. There are two special lodging packages: one for spectators and one for participants.
