Thankful Baptist Church, 1195 Cannonville Road, celebrates Pre-Anniversary services for the Rev. Adrian Smith at 7 p.m. each night. Guest speakers are Dr. Carlton May, Sylvester Baptist Church in Ellenwood, on Thursday and Dr. Johnathon Carter, Siloam Church International in East Point, on Friday.

Saturday

Events: Paint the Town Pink is 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Lafayette Square and will feature the 10-mile, annual HOPE for a Day Walk to raise money for local breast cancer services. The walk begins at 8 a.m. and ends 12:15 p.m. on the square. Health events on the square include free clinical breast exams with vouchers for free mammograms to those who qualify, women’s health screenings and information on women’s wellness. Other activities include kids’ Zumba, fitness demonstrations, musical and dance performances and a raffle drawing.

Jefferson Street Market featuring local wares and produce is 9:30 a.m. to noon at 625 Jefferson St.

Meetings: Self Help Harbor, 909 Stonewall St., hosts AA meetings at 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m. for women, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Churches: Welcome Baptist Church in the Redline Community hosts its 100th anniversary at 2:30 p.m. with speaker the Rev. Johnny Strickland of Macedonia Baptist Church in Grantville and Mount Zion in Corinth.

Thankful Baptist Church, 1195 Cannonville Road, hosts its third anniversary for pastor Adrian Smith at 3 p.m. with guest speaker Dr. Eddie F. Collier of Towaliga County Line Baptist Church in Jackson.

Living by Faith Worship Center, 1898 Greenville Road in LaGrange, celebrates its Elders’ Ministry at 3 p.m. Pastor Carlton May and Sylvester Baptist Church of Ellenwood will be guests.

Callaway Baptist Church hosts discipleship training, youth and children’s classes at 5 p.m.

Uplifting Your Faith Ministries, 104 Youngs Mill Road, hosts spiritual counseling/healing at 5 p.m. with Bishop R.L. Darden.
