Monday

Events: The Living Healthy with Diabetes six-week workshop kicks off at The Active Life, 140 Ragland St. Classes are 1–3:30 p.m. Cost is $10 for the entire workshop. Space is limited. RSVP to Molly Jones at 706-883-1681.

LaGrange College kicks off its 2016 3D Journeys series with “The Cuban Literary Soul: Dreams, Memory and Rediscovery,” featuring Dr. Amanda Plumlee, professor of Latin American studies and modern languages. Beginning at 10 a.m., all 3D Journey lectures will be in the Dickson Assembly Room of Turner Hall. Attendees should park in the lots adjacent to the pedestrian bridge on Vernon Road, and a shuttle will take them to the door. A Dutch-treat lunch will be available in the Pitts Dining Hall following each session.

A beginner scrapbook class is offered at the Active Life Center on Ragland Street at 1 p.m. There is no cost for the class. A registration form and supply list can be picked up at the center.

Uplifting Your Faith Ministries, 104 Youngs Mill Road, hosts spiritual counseling/healing at 5 p.m. with Bishop R.L. Darden.

Meetings: Troup County Board of Health meets 8 a.m. in the board room of the Troup County Health Department, 900 Dallis St.
