LaGRANGE — Four men remained behind bars Monday morning after they allegedly burglarized the Hillside Food Mart at 706 Lincoln St. about 4:30 a.m. Sunday and attempted to break into another store.

David Broughton, 21, Jeremy Bell, 21, and Quentin Foster, 18, all of LaGrange, and Markel Paige, 18, of Roanoke, Alabama, were arrested and each charged with one count of burglary and one count of attempted burglary.

While LaGrange police investigators were on the scene at Hillside Food Mart, a 911 call alerted police to another burglary in progress at the LaGrange Food Mart at 158 Youngs Mill Road.

Officers found the suspects and linked to the burglary at the Hillside store, according to investigators.

The four men were immediately taken into custody.

Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call the LaGrange Police Department at 706-883-2603 or Troup County Crime Stoppers at 706-812-1000.
