LaGRANGE — The Tolly McCall Burch Memorial Scholarship Committee has announced the 2016 award of its scholarship to Duncan McClung, a Troup High School senior who will graduate in June.

McClung will receive $1,900 towards the tuition fees of the college of his choice.

The Tolly McCall Burch Memorial Scholarship is administered by the Junior Service League of LaGrange. This scholarship was set up to honor the memory of Tolly McCall Burch and her passion for education and civic involvement. It recognizes a high school senior who exhibits high academic standards and who actively volunteers in his or her community and church.

The scholarship committee is composed of Ashley Anderson, Kim Myers, Angela Ochsenknecht and Alison Vinson.
