The LaGrange Lions Club last week recognized Drs. Jerry Overall and Cliff Rainey for their work in ‘providing countless hours’ in free eye exams to children in need, and awarded funds to the local Salvation Army. The club hosted a golf tournament in April in honor of the two optometrists with funds to benefit the Salvation Army. The group raised $4,192, which members gave to Salvation Army Capt. Guy Nickum during its June 14 meeting. Shown during the check presentation are, from left, Overall, Perry Roberts with Salvation Army, Nickum, Rainey and Lions Club president Ralph Duraski.
