HOGANSVILLE — Investigators with the Hogansville Police Department continue their search for a bold robber who held up the CB&T bank at 410 East Main St. at gunpoint approximately 4 p.m. on Monday.

The man approached the teller’s station inside the bank, allegedly pulled out a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money, investigators stated.

After receiving the money, the suspect took off on foot, a news release stated.

There were several bank employees and customers inside the bank at the time of the incident, but no one was hurt, investigators said.

The suspect was described as an African-American male, between 40 and 50 years of age, 5-feet-11-inches tall and clean-shaven. He was wearing a dark ball cap, large, dark sunglasses, a dark- and light-colored polo shirt and dark pants, investigators stated.

Witnesses outside the bank told Hogansville police officers they saw possibly a second suspect in a dark SUV just prior to the robbery, according to law enforcement officials.
