LaGRANGE — Two people were injured after their vehicles collided at the intersection of Medical Center Parkway and Vernon Street just after noon Friday in front of West Georgia Medical Center.

LaGrange police said a woman driving a gray Kia Sorento turned left in front of a light blue Chevy Astro van. An officer on the scene said the van had the green light, and was eastbound on Vernon Street when it slammed into the Kia.

The two vehicles collided head on, the officer said.

The man driving the Chevy van was complaining of leg and hand injuries and was transported by ambulance to the hospital.

LaGrange police said the woman was also hurt in the accident, but information on her injuries wasn’t available at the scene.
