Truck fire blazes on Morgan Street in LaGrange

LaGRANGE — A truck was engulfed in flames this morning on Morgan Street at Lafayette Parkway, but the driver escaped unharmed.

The fire was called in to 911 at 7:12 a.m.

The driver of the truck said that it “just caught fire,” but declined to make a direct comment to the Daily News.

LaGrange firefighters extinguished the blaze, which destroyed the cab of the 18-wheeler, and were investigating the cause.
