Thomas “Tucker” Hall

Mr. Thomas “Tucker” Hall, 54, of LaGrange, GA passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at West Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Hall was born March 8, 1961 in Cleveland, OH to the late Thomas Hastie Hall, Sr. and Virginia Marie Wiley Hall. He was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and started his career in public service in LaGrange in 1985. Mr. Hall was an adjunct Professor of Political Science at LaGrange College and served as acting Fire Chief. He left LaGrange for a short tenure to serve as City Manager in Morrow, returning to LaGrange in 1994 and has served as City Manager since that time. Under his guidance and leadership, many programs have been established to improve LaGrange. He served on numerous committees, boards and councils. Mr. Hall was highly respected by his peers and the citizens of LaGrange and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife Gina Hall; children, Dylan (Leigh) Hall and Cassidy Hall; sisters, Kathy (Michael) Adkins, Lisa Chandler, and Suzanne (Skip) Purdy; mothers-in-law, Helen Pierce and Janette Pierce-Perryman; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The Rosary will begin at 5:45 pm and the visitation will follow from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be held 11:00am Monday, February 22, 2016 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Father Patrick Scully officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Peter’s Catholic Church in memory of Thomas Hall.
