Investigators with the LaGrange Police Department responded to the West Georgia Health Medical Center after receiving a report of a juvenile who had been sexually assaulted.

It appears the assault occurred on Borton Street.

Since the victim is a juvenile, no other details were provided at this time.

LaGrange Police responded to a possible burglary at a home in the 700 block of Dallis Street late Tuesday night.

Officers say when the owner came home, she noticed her TV was missing from the living room. Police say two more TVs were also taken from the house, as well as a Samsung Galaxy Note II. The total value was close to $1,400.

Police were investigating.

A man already wanted for shoplifting is in trouble with the law again.

Gregory Gantt was charged with stealing a Ryobi generator from the Home Depot store last week. Now he’s wanted by the store and the LaGrange Police Department for shoplifting three more times - and the incidents all were caught on tape.

According to officers, Gantt is seen on surveillance stealing a Dyson DC65 vacuum cleaner worth $599, a Milwaukee 11A deep cut band saw worth $299 and a 6,000-watt Power Stroke storm generator valued at $699 in separate incidents.

Police say Gantt has five other previous shoplifting convictions. He was released on bond on the previous charge. Gantt is now being charged with felony theft.
