Troup County Sheriff’s Office investigators are trying to locate a 15-year-old girl with a mental disorder who has been missing since Monday.
Ledia King was last seen walking fast on Rock Mills Road in the 800 block about 2 p.m. Monday, said sheriff’s investigator Shelly Downs. She was wearing a white shirt and sandals.
King is biracial, black and Hispanic, and when last seen both sides of her head were shaved. She may go by the nickname “Dede.” She is described as about 5-foot-7, 160 pounds. She has a burn on the back of her right leg.
The teen has a mental disorder with diminished mental capacity, said her mother, Evelyn King. According to some reports, she may be wearing jeans with holes in them and brown sandals, and she may also be carrying a black bag with the bold white letters SHAW embroidered.
