Exhibits: “A Slice of Our History: Troup County Golf and Golfers” is on display at Legacy Museum on Main, 136 Main St. until Sept. 12. From the early 20th century until today, several people and events with Troup County connections have impacted the game and its development. The story of golf is unveiled through photographs, artifacts, news clippings and more. Among those spotlighted are Ely Callaway, Bobby Jones, Lionel and Harold Callaway, Suzanne Jackson, Allen Doyle and others. The museum is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 706-884-1828


“In the Shadow of Contemplation,” a selection of prints by Curlee Raven Holton, an artist and professor at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania and director for the university’s Experimental Printmaking Institute, is on display at Cochran Gallery, 4 E. Lafayette Square. The gallery is open Wednesday to Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m.
