The Active Life Golden Sew ‘N’ Sews presented the 2014 handmade quilt to the Breast Friends for Life, Inc. for the group’s raffle at the ninth annual Paint the Town Pink on Sept. 27. Tickets are on sale by members of both groups at $1 per ticket and will be available at the Mike Daniel Parks & Recreation Center on Lafayette Parkway from Lynn Howard, West Georgia Health from Mary Ann Hodnett and The Active Life on Ragland Street from Dan Wooten. Paint the Town Pink will be held on Lafayette Square. Raffle tickets sold will benefit Breast Friends for Life, which has the goal to help local women facing breast cancer find hope, support and answers.
