A LaGrange man is wanted by police after he posted nude photos of his ex-girlfriend on social media, according to LaGrange police.

The woman contacted police Wednesday after a family member called her and told her the photos of her were on Facebook.

The man has also harassed the woman, coming to her home and place of work, the victim told police.

The victim said in a statement to an officer that the two dated for about three months, and after they broke up, he continued to call her regularly and come by her house. The man allegedly called the woman and left a voice mail threatening to “make her life a living hell” because she did not want to be in a relationship with him, according to the police report.

Officers drew up warrants charging the man with stalking and disturbing obscene material.

Man allegedly flees police

A 28-year-old LaGrange man faces felony charges after he led police on a car chase about 1 a.m. today.

Jasmine J. Porter was charged with fleeing and attempting to elude police, reckless driving, driving on a suspended license and failure to maintain lane after he fled from police near Brown and Smoot streets.

Porter’s vehicle struck a telephone pole and he allegedly fled on foot from the crash scene before he was taken into custody by police, according to a police report.

Apartment burglarized

A resident of an apartment complex in the 1200 block of Hogansville Road told police Wednesday her home was burglarized.

The woman said she returned from a weeklong trip and found a pair of boots, diamond earrings and a watch were missing from her bedroom, according to a police report.

Officers photographed the woman’s apartment and issued her a case card.

Thefts

• A City of LaGrange-issued mobile phone was reported stolen Wednesday. The phone, a Samsung Galaxy, was outside the Badcock Furniture warehouse and was being used to capture time-lapse footage of the buildings construction, according to the victim. The theft occurred sometime between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.

• A woman told police Wednesday someone entered her vehicle parked on Beechwood Circle and stole an iPad Mini tablet and a Nikon Coolpix camera.

• A man allegedly stole a Verizon HTC mobile phone valued at $150 from Walmart on New Franklin Road on Wednesday.
