Investigators with the Troup County Sheriff’s Office say two men wanted in separate crimes are behind bars at the Troup County Jail.

According to Investigators, 43-year-old James Christopher Jenkins remains in the Troup County Jail after being extradited from Auburn, Alabama. Jenkins is being charged with armed robbery after allegedly holding up the Hog Heaven restaurant off West Point Road back on July 25, 2013.

Investigators say credible information from the public finally led to Jenkins capture and arrest. He’s set to go before a magistrate judge on Wednesday.

The Troup County Sheriffs Office says another man, 35 year old Mathew Wilson Strickland, finally turned himself in to deputies on Monday.

Strickland was wanted for allegedly shooting Fred Fincher in the back on July 22nd while the two men were riding four wheelers on Lovic Davis Road. Investigators say Strickland also held a gun to another victim’s head during the same incident.
