A 15 year old was in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle Saturday.
According a release from LaGrange police, the teen, identified as Randy Reed of Hogansville, was riding his skateboard on Broome Street and disregarded the stop sign at South Lewis Street. Reed rode into the path of a 2009 Dodge Charger driven by Sheilihia Fuller of LaGrange, which struck him. Police responded to the incident about 11:05 p.m.
Reed suffered “critical injuries,” according to the report, and was taken to West Georgia Medical Center and later transferred to Atlanta Medical Center. His condition Sunday afternoon was unavailable; AMC public relations said the system cannot release any information about a minor.
A preliminary police investigation determined that Reed was at fault for the collision.
Anyone with additional information was asked to contact the LaGrange Police Department.
