A man was shot Sunday night while walking in the 500 block of South Lee Street.
According to a police report, an 18-year-old man was walking on South Lee Street at about 11 p.m. Sunday when he was approached by two black males. One of the males told the victim to empty his pockets, but the victim told them he had no money. The victim said one of the males then pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the abdomen.
The two men then ran in an unknown direction and the victim walked to his father’s house in the 600 block of Cottage Lane and 911 was notified.
The victim was transported to the Columbus Medical Center where he was listed in satisfactory condition this morning.
One suspect was wearing all black and the other was wearing blue jeans, according to the victim, but no further description was given.
