The Celebration of Life Service for Bernard Alexander Sellers will be Monday, September 16, 2013 at Living By Faith Ministries.


Bishop Donald Lancaster will officiate. Burial will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery with military honors.


Mr. Sellers, a native of Atlanta, was born June 1, 1946 and was the son of the late Richard Sellers Sr. and Geneva Baugh Sellers. He was retired from the United States Army with service during the Vietnam War. He was also retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the James Pritchett Chapter #85 of Disabled American Veterans, Asbury Park, New Jersey.


Survivors include his wife, Josephine McCamey Sellers; daughter, Cassandra Sellers (Tyron); son, Bernard Sellers Jr.; grandchildren: Breylan Sellers, Kennedy Sellers, Marquisa Sims; nieces: Skyll Sellers, Texanne McCamey; Audria Norwood (Willie); nephews: Patrick Sellers, T. C. Weems (Andrea), Carlton McCamey (Nylus), Quinton McCamey, Dr. Jimmy McCamey Jr.; brothers-in-law: Jimmy McCamey Sr., Eugene McCamey (Jean), George McCamey; devoted friends: Brenda and Darryl Morrison; God son, Dominique Morrison; other relatives and friends.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Richard Sellers Jr. and Vinson Sellers; mother and father-in-law, Addie and Charlie Dawson McCamey; sister-in-law, Barbara Ann Sellers; brother-in-law, Charlie Jack McCamey; and great-grandson, Jamari Sims.


The family will be at their home at 514 Hill Street.
