To the editor:

On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to congratulate and thank the Troup County Bar Association for commissioning a portrait of Coweta Judicial Circuit Senior Superior Court Judge Allen B. Keeble, which was recently unveiled and placed in Courtroom 3B of the Troup County Government Center.

This prestigious honor is well deserved by Judge Keeble, who served 25 years as an active Superior Court judge before his retirement in 2012 and previously served as a State Court and Juvenile Court judge for Troup County. He was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1969 and began practicing law in LaGrange in 1972. He also served his country as a captain and judge advocate in the U.S. Air Force.

Again, we salute President Peter Alford and all members of the Troup County Bar Association for their successful efforts to bestow this honor on Judge Keeble, which recognizes his career-long efforts to promote the cause of justice and uphold the integrity of the legal profession in our state.

Sincerely,

Robert J. “Bob” Kauffman

President, State Bar of Georgia
