Taking the high road every time!

Some people go through life and they are totally coachable.

I saw a young man in sales the other day offending ladies. I went out of my way in a very nice way asking that person to go and say, “I was having a bad day. Please forgive me for being rude.”

He informed me he did not say he was sorry. I predict that young man will remain at the bottom of the pay scale for a very long time.

It takes a little person to be told he has offended two ladies and not want to do something about it. Maybe my ego is just not that big. If I mess something up I want to make it right.

Get this that person is in sales of all things. This comes back from the Zig Ziglar days, everyone has about 250 friends they can all say something nice about you or that you are a first-class jerk. This world will be a lot better off when we all learn to get along together.

No one else can succeed for you!

What business are you in? I am in the business of enjoying life.

Hope you’re not old before you figure that out? Folks, your bank account does not make you a success.

Are you happy? Are you enjoying life? Do you have friends and family that you love? Please answer this, do other people think you are successful? More importantly, do you feel successful?

What am I saying? You must be happy inside to be happy on the outside. Success is and must be enjoyed!

I hear too many people say, “When I get this, or that, I will be happy.”

No, they will not. You must be happy on the inside and enjoy each and every day.

Be proud of what you have done over the past, don’t wait for the “when I get this or that.” Enjoy your travel along life’s road.

Stop and enjoy the flowers each day. They are out there for you to enjoy, you must look for them. Riding around with my mentor and good friend, Dr. Rainey, we stopped on the side of the road, paid a lady a few dollars and picked a big sack of pears.

Yes, we laughed and had fun! Enjoy what comes your way every day.
