A native of Chicago, John has been in the newspaper business for 38 years, starting in advertising sales at a small weekly in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He has worked at newspapers in Michigan, Wisconsin, Mississippi and Ohio. He joined the LaGrange Daily News in August, 2011. As a Group Publisher he also has responsibility for Heartland Publications newspapers in Ohio, Kentucky and Georgia.
Taking care of the customer is his top priority. He believes in the power of newspapers, both print and online, and loves to hear suggestions from readers about how to make our products more relevant, informative and entertaining.

An Ohio native, Karen has been in the newspaper and advertising field for 29 years.
She started her career as an advertising representative for The Wapakoneta Daily News. She then became retail advertising manager for Amos Press Inc. Then returned to Wapakoneta as advertising/marketing director for both The Wapakoneta Daily News and The St. Mary’s Evening Leader. During this time, she was also creative/sales director for their in house marketing agency - Marketing Etc., and Florida Living Magazine.
In December of 2011, she accepted the position of General Manager/Advertising Director for The LaGrange Daily News.
A strong believer in the value of community newspapers, she is also an advocate of online and mobile opportunities for our advertisers. Karen welcomes the opportunity to meet with clients to discuss their marketing options with The LaGrange Daily News.

A native of Atlanta, Roland has been in the newspaper industry for 15 year. He started as an inserter at a daily newspaper in Fayetteville, GA. In four years he became the production manager.
Roland has been with the LaGrange Daily News since 2002, starting as the pressroom foreman. In 2010 he was promoted to production manager.
He and his team strive to put out the best product they can to give the people in Troup County the best product possible.

A native of Georgia, Becky has been in the printing/graphics industry for over 24 years, starting out as a graphic designer and moving into systems maintenance. She has worked for several large commercial printers providing graphic design, technical support and management. She further worked as a systems engineer for a leading computer and network service company providing hardware and software maintenance, support and training. She joined the LaGrange Daily News in August, 2009. As production hub manager, she is responsible for the 11 publications served here in LaGrange.

Mike started out delivering the Tampa Tribune in High School. He has worked in the circulation departments of over four major newspaper chains for over 30 years, from Florida to South Carolina.
He has been a circulation director, sales and marketing manager and everything in-between.
Mike must love what he is doing since he started in 1973, and is still going strong.
Mike says, "There is nothing I love more than a small town newspaper, because the paper makes a difference in the community."

Kevin Eckleberry has been the sports editor at the LaGrange Daily News since the fall of 2002, continuing a journalism career that began in 1993 after he graduated from Georgia Southern University.
Kevin's first job was at The Daily Citizen in Dalton, Ga., where he was a sports writer, and he also been a sports writer at the Rome News-Tribune in Rome, Ga., as well as the editor of the Lee County Herald, a weekly newspaper in Leesburg, Ga.
Before coming to LaGrange, Kevin was the sports editor for four years at The Daily Tribune News in Cartersville, Ga.
Kevin has a wife, Julie, who is an accountant at the Boatwright firm in LaGrange, and he has a daughter, Rachel, who is in the fourth grade at Westside Magnet School.

LaGrange native, Carla has been with LaGrange Daily News for 15 years. She started her career in the Classified Department as Customer Service Representative. After two years worked with the Circulation Department as a Accounting Clerk. For a brief time she worked with Stephens Priniting in LaGrange as a Promotional Salesperson only to return Ito LaGrange Daily News in 2005 as Classified Manager. In 2010 she became Advertising Manager.
She a true believer in LaGrange Daily News as "Your Local Hometown Newspaper", while striving to be a better manager to her co-workers and stressing the importance of A-1 customer service for our advertisers and customers.
