Police estimated ten people were injured in a wreck involving seven cars on Hamilton Road Wednesday. The accident occurred in front of Fullers Superette at about 3 p.m.

Police said a white Toyota Avalon, with about six passengers, would be charged with failure to yield.

A witness said a car was trying to turn from Hamilton onto Fendig Street and caused the wreck, sending two other cars, a Ford Taurus and a Chrysler Seibring, into cars parked at the Fullers Superette.

A Jeep Liberty and a Pontiac Grand Am were among the parked cars hit, police said.

One serious injury was reported, in which a man sustained a severe gash on his head.
