Daisy Lee Gates passed away Monday at West Georgia Health.

She was born August 31, 1946, to the late Willie Jenkins, Sr. and Magalene Gates.

Daisy confessed Christ as her Lord and united with the St. James C. M. E. Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Gates.

Survivors include one daughter, Carla Lynn Gates (Peter); one step-daughter, Dorothy Williams; four grandchildren: Willie, Shabrica, Ashley, and Shaneekia; brothers and sisters: Sarah, Lillie, Joann, Dorothy, James, Willie, Richard, Roger; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012, at 1:00 PM at Warren Temple U M Church with Rev. Jesse Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.
