Alma Davis and Charlie Kennedy announce the engangement of their daughter, Jiani Tiwanza Davis, to James Edward White, son of Vera and the late James White, and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie McCamey.
The wedding will be May 27 at Oakhurst Lakeside.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Gertrude Kennedy and Johnny Simpson. She is a 2000 graduate of Troup High School. She earned her associate of science degree from Southern Union State Community College in 2004, bachelor of science degree from Columbus State University in 2008 and master’s degree in public health at Walden University in 2011.
The groom-elect attended LaGrange High School and is a graduate of West Georgia Technical College. He is a lab technician at InterfaceFlor.
