After feeding more than 800 families for Thanksgiving, organizers for the annual Christmas Dinner are hoping for the same turnout.

This year the Christmas Dinner is looking to feed about 1,200 people in need in Troup County. In doing so, they are seeking toy and food donations to be donated for Christmas. Gift boxes will be delivered to the families on Dec. 24 and the dinner will be held on Christmas Day.

Donations can be dropped off at Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home at 201 Hamilton Road, Roots & Branches Beauty Salon at 801 Hamilton Road, WJCN TV, at the Callaway Conference Center, WTRP AM 620 Radio at 806 New Franklin Road, Good Seed Bookstore at 205 North Greenwood Street or any PNC Bank locations.

Monetary donations can also be made to the “Up All Night Charity” account at any of the PNC banks.

The event is organized by Gospel Expo and “Up All Night” with Jake Sessions TV Show and will be on held between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at Cannon Street Elementary School located at 115 East Cannon Street. For additional information, Jake Sessions can be reached at 706-884-6963 or 706-416-7218.
