Anne Miller of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Jeffrey and Jackie Evanson of Leonard, Mich., announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Anna Evanson of Winston, to Judson Tyler Jones of Winston, son of Jack and Gayla Jones of LaGrange.
The wedding is set for Oct. 6 at 4 p.m. at Peachtree Baptist Church in Carrollton.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schmidt of Grayling, Mich., and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Smizek of Lake Orion, Mich. She is a graduate of Rochester High School in Rochester, Mich., and the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, where she received a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and was a cheerleader. She is an assistant manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Douglasville.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Melrose Jones of Portal. He is a graduate of Callaway High School and the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education, and was a member of the baseball team. He is a teacher and coach in the Douglas County school system.
