Legacy Museum on Main, 136 Main St. in LaGrange, hosts the exhibit Weddings of West Georgia: Something Old, Something New until April 20 with wedding dresses, shoes, veils, announcements, invitations and newspaper reports used to spotlight love and weddings in West Georgia from the 1800s to the present. Admission is free. An opening reception and wedding tea is Feb. 16 from 2-4 p.m. The museum is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free of charge. Lafayette Society for Performing Arts presents “The Hot l Baltimore,” Thursday through Saturday, and Feb. 15 and Feb. 16 at 7:30 p.m., and Feb. 17 at 2:30 p.m. at the LSPA Black Box Theater, 214 Bull St. The play, set in the lobby of the Hotel Baltimore, focuses on residents of the decaying property faced with eviction. LaGrange Symphony Orchestra presents An Evening with Jason Coleman at 7:30 p.m. in the Callaway Auditorium, 801 Dallis St., on the campus of LaGrange College. Coleman and the LSO will play a nostalgic lineup of country, pop and easy listening standards. Coleman is the grandson of legendary keyboardist Floyd Kramer. Cain’s audiences love the insightful and side-splitting adventures she shares from her own life. Chetter specializes in African and African-American stories enhanced with sound effects and music.
