Ongoing

“Folk Crafts of West Georgia” at Legacy Museum on Main, in conjunction with the opening of “American Folk Hero: Outsider Art of Georgia and Alabama” at LaGrange Art Museum. The exhibit will feature the more ornamental variety of crafts such as quilts, baskets, wood carvings and bowls, and totem poles from Troup and surrounding counties. Items on display date from the early 1900s to recent days. Legacy Museum on Main is located at 136 Main St. in LaGrange. The museum is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free of charge. For more information, call 706-884-1828.
