Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Pitts announce the engagement of their daughter, Karen Nicole Pitts, to Mitch Frazer Nix, son of Mr. Jesse Russell Nix of West Point and Mr. and Mrs. Craig Deloach of LaGrange.
The wedding will take place at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 20 at Mr. Jesse Russell Nix’s home in West Point.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Joanne Noles of LaGrange. She is a 2003 graduate of LaGrange High School and a 2007 graduate of LaGrange College with a bachelor of arts degree in computer science. She will graduate with a master of science in computer science, software development from Columbus State University in December. She is management information systems technician II at the city of LaGrange.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Ann Nix of Burlington, N.C. He is a 2003 graduate of LaGrange Academy and attended Georgia State University. He is employed with the family-owned business LaGrange & Parkway Farmer’s Market in LaGrange and Opelika, Ala.
