Man Robs McDonald’s

An employee at the McDonald’s on West Point Road said that an unknown black male entered the restaurant armed with a handgun and demanded all the money, according to a police report. The suspect retrieved an undisclosed amount of money and the employee’s iPhone. Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to call the LaGrange Police Department at 706-883-2603.

Thefts, Burglaries

• A woman said someone went into her car in the 200 block of Brook Stone Drive and stole her credit card. Charges made to the card were for $177.07 and $197.08 on the website jemmyjezz.com.

• A man said that his tires and rims valued at $2500 were taken from a storage building in the 500 block of Everette Street.

• A woman in the 400 block of Harwell Avenue said that someone broke into her home and took a bracelet valued at $100, nine pairs on women’s underwear valued at $9, and a piggy bank containing about $80.

• An employee at Whitesville Road Elementary School on Whitesville Street said that someone broke into the school and stole a HP laptop valued at $1,500 and a small flip camera valued at $50.

• A man in the 100 block of Clark Street said that someone stole a set of socket wrenches valued at about $200 from the residence.

• An employee at Taste of Lemon restaurant in the the 200 block of Morgan Street said that someone broke into the restaurant and took less than $200 in items.

Damages

• A man in the 900 block of William Street said that someone attempted to kick in his back door causing less than $200 in damage.

• A man and woman in the first block of Handley Street said that someone shattered their front screen door causing about $125 in damage.

• An employee at Sun Ridge Apartments on Hogansville Road said that someone attempted to pry the coin box on a dryer, causing less than $500 in damage.
