Thefts, Burglaries
• A woman in the 800 block of Daniel Street said that someone used her card to make an online purchase of $108.24 to Radio Shack.
• A Brownwood Avenue resident said that someone stole a 100 feet garden hose and assorted tools from his yard totaling $290.
• A woman said that someone went into her car at Troup County High School on Hamilton Road and stole her purse valued at $1,500, $2,000 in cash, four $50 Visa gift cards and four credit cards.
Damages
• A woman in the 200 block of East Hillside Drive said that someone used a sharp object to scratch her 1999 Toyota Camry causing over $500 in damage.
