Mr. Raymond D. Shockley, age 63 of Grantville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012.

Mr. Shockley was born in Griffin, Georgia on November 15, 1948. He is preceded in death by his parents, Grover “Pete” Shockley and Maggie Callahan Shockley. Mr. Shockley was a veteran of United States Army having served during Vietnam. Mr. Shockley was retired from Ford Motor Co, of the Baptist Faith and was a Mason.

Survivors include his wife, Linda W. Shockley, son, Russell Cobb and his wife, Jessica; stepdaughter, Shannon Dotson; step daughter, Patrice Dolan and her husband Scott; grandchildren, Britny Dotson, Hunter Dotson, Natalie Whitson, Kristi Wilson, Zachery Dolan and Courtney Dolan; 5 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Shirley Shockley; sister, Cathy Spradlin; many special cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial services for Mr. Raymond D. Shockley was conducted Sunday, October, 28, 2012 at 4pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Friends visited the family from 3:00 pm until the hour of service.
