Mr. Reginald “Reggie” Brian Cook, age 56, of LaGrange, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the West Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Cook was born December 7, 1955 in LaGrange, son of Betty Cook and the late Sonny Cook. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and had worked at the Milliken Hillside Plant for 35 years.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his children and their spouses, Kenneth Richard “Richie” and Robyn Cook of LaGrange, Alex and Chris Hemmings, Anna Sheppard, all of LaFayette, AL and Furie Taylor of LaGrange; brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard “Kevin” and Jane Cook of Panama City Beach, FL, and Michael “Race” and Tracy Cook of Hiram; grandchildren, Breanna, Jasmine, and Dezire’ Cook and J. J. and Crystyl Hemmings. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Annie Bell Bates.

Funeral services will be 1:00 Friday at the Kavon Zelaya-Myhand Chapel with Rev. Donnie Benefield officiating. The family will be at his home at 308 Woodfield Circle, and receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00. Flowers will be accepted or the family request donations be made to Grace Baptist Church, 3731 West Point Road, LaGrange, Ga., 30240.
