Jeff and Elaine Shelnutt of Norcross and Lynn Shelnutt of LaGrange announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Lynn Shelnutt
of Tifton, to Cody Jake Bolton of Tifton, son of Bridgette Williams of Cordele and Rick Hudson of Seattle, Wash.
The wedding will take place 2 p.m. Oct. 13 at Free Life Church in Cordele.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Qullian Banks of LaGrange and Frank Hamilton of Dawsonville. She is a 2011 graduate of LaGrange High School and attends Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Cecilia Laxton of Cordele. He is a 2009 graduate of Jeff Davis High School in Hazelhurst and attends Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton. He is retired from the U.S. Army and is employed at The Groves in Tifton as maintenance supervisor.
