Mr. and Mrs. John R. Turner announce the engagement of their daughter, Joanna Lauren Turner, to Christian Little Sims, son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Sims of Gainesville.
The wedding is set for 5:30 p.m. Oct. 13 at Splendor Mountain in Tiger.
The bride-elect is a graduate of LaGrange High School and University of Georgia with a bachelor of science degree in journalism. She is employed by Reznik Group in Atlanta as a senior marketing coordinator.
The groom-elect is a graduate of North Hall High School and University of Georgia with a bachelor of science degree in housing and consumer economics. He is employed by Aon Hewitt in Atlanta as a product and strategy analyst.
