Aretha Renee Dunlap passed away October 17, 2012 at Hospice LaGrange.

Ms. Dunlap was born June 4, 1969 to the late Susette Dunlap and Paul Copeland. She was reared by her loving grandmother, the late Annie Dunlap.

Renee attended Harris County High School. Upon graduation, she became employed with Callaway Gardens where she provided her services diligently in housekeeping. She was also employed at the Inflation Factory in later years.

She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church of Pine Mountain, Georgia.

Survivors include two sons: Nicholas and Kadeen Dunlap, LaGrange, GA; three half siblings: Monica, Cassandra, and Paula Copeland,; aunts: Annie (Aunt Ann) Johnson and Willie Mae Smith, both of Atlanta, GA; Mattie Pearl Smith, Savannah, GA; uncle: John L. Dunlap, Pine Mountain, GA; four great aunts: Mattie Freeman, Daisy Dunlap, JoAnn Dunlap and Mae Will Dunlap; one great uncle: Tobe Dunlap; and a host of cousins and many friends.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Spring Chapel Liberated Church, Pine Mountain with Rev. Albert Dunlap officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
