SAVANNAH— The following area students were named to the fall 2012 President’s List at Armstrong Atlantic State University:

•Benjamin Veatch, a senior rehabilitation sciences major from LaGrange.

•Madalynn Walker, a sophomore biology major from Warm Springs.

•Amber Ward, a senior art education major from LaGrange.

In order to make the President’s List, students must be enrolled in at least nine semester hours of course work and earn a 4.0 grade point average during two consecutive semesters.

Armstrong Atlantic State University, part of the University System of Georgia, was founded in 1935. The university offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate academic programs in the College of Liberal Arts, the College of Science and Technology, the College of Education, and the College of Health Professions.

Armstrong Atlantic serves more than 7,600 students at its main campus in Savannah and a regional center in Hinesville.
