A three car wreck on Whitesville Road left one in serious condition Friday afternoon.
According to Georgia State Patrol trooper Jimmy Jones, at about 4:47 p.m., an older model Ford F-150 was traveling southbound near the 3000 block of Whitesville Road when the driver allegedly dozed off at the wheel, causing it to cross onto the oncoming lane. The vehicle side swiped a white pickup truck then crashed head on into a gold Mazda Protege.
The Mazda driver was flown the Columbus Medical Center and the driver of the F-150 complained of minor back pain and was treated at the scene. The driver of the white pickup did not sustain injuries.
Names will not released until the families have been notified. The wreck is is still under investigation.
